With Paleo’s recent explosion in popularity, numerous recipes and cookbooks have hit the market. As one of the most expensive options, Paleo Grubs has positioned itself as a contender for the most well-rounded Paleo resource and best option for beginners and novices alike. Having had the chance to personally review it, courtesy of a free review copy from the creators of Paleo Grubs, I am pleased to be able to share my thoughts and feelings about it with you below. Enjoy!
So, why all the fuss? Weight loss and dieting is big business and people are always looking for the next big thing. With all the recent research on weight loss and chronic health conditions, Paleo has emerged as this years must-see diet. It’s retrospective roots on nutrition and healthy eating are certainly appealing, too. Junk foods, dairy, and grains which in recent times have consumed our meals are nowhere to be seen with Paleo, just like they were during the times of our Paleolithic ancestors. What’s left is a plethora of natural foods found only in nature. The logic of this eating-style is hard to argue with. Paleo has shown to be beneficial in healthy weight management, inflammatory conditions and gastrointestinal intolerance.
Despite the majority of praise for Paleo, there are detractors of the diet who point out that lack of carbohydrates may be of concern, as might the high lipid profiles of foods available. Too often though, these naysayers have hidden agendas and so their opinions should always be treated with a pinch of salt. Paleo has cultivated a huge following and some of the testimonials and transformations have been nothing short of jaw-dropping and shouldn’t be ignored.
What about Paleo Grubs? In a word, it’s excellent. The main selling point of Paleo Grubs are the recipes and rest-assured there are more than enough to keep you busy. They’re also really tasty, too. Other Paleo Grubs reviews have highlighted the excellent selection of foods on offer and give praise to the additional 10 week meal plan as an excellent way to get started and get your Paleo diet on-track. The presentation was also a high-point for me. It’s clear a lot of love and attention to detail have gone into creating Paleo Grubs, and it shows. The pictures of the foods are saliva-inducing and the clear-cut instructions make for quick and easy preparation.
Personally, I don’t like spending much time in the kitchen, so it was nice having the instructions on-hand while cooking and helped make the whole process a breeze. If you’re concerned about variety, or lack of it, don’t be. Yes, Paleo omits certain food groups, but there’s still plenty to get excited about. In fact, you would be surprised at how well you can feed and satisfy yourself with what’s on offer just in the recipe book alone. Moreover, Paleo Grubs comes with a heap of supplemental information to help make your transition to a Paleo lifestyle even easier.
So often people looking to improve their health fail to make a sustainable change. Much of this can be attributed to a lack of knowledge, understanding and know-how. Don’t let this happen to you if you’re serious about Paleo. Get Paleo Grubs, you won’t regret it.
